Installation

Installing the Fuel Pump Protector is extremely simple and does not require advanced technical skills. To install it, just:

  1. Insert the pump body into the filter. ​
  2. Close the filter using the provided clamp or stainless steel wire.
  3. Reinstall the fuel pump into the tank.
  4. During installation, ensure that the seam is aligned away from the drain hole at the base of the pump.
  5. Push the matrix all the way down, covering the hole with the flat part of the matrix, avoiding the seam.


 Maintenance

The Fuel Pump Protector requires minimal maintenance, with a recommended cleaning interval of 20,000 km and a complete replacement at 60,000 km.

However, when combined with our H2O-Stop filters, the filter can operate effectively without maintenance for at least 80,000 km. The filter is washable, allowing for easy maintenance and ensuring continuous protection.
